Mini-Grant Program

PMRPC and the Pottstown Area Health and Wellness Foundation (PAHWF) are pleased to announce the fourth round of funding for the Regional Partnership for Park Improvements Mini-Grant Program for the 2021-2024 grant cycle.  With the help of a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, PMRPC and PAHWF invite the Region’s eight member municipalities to apply for funding of up to $25,000 for the planning or development of park improvements.

The funding made available for this program will assist municipalities in undertaking park improvements that add amenities to existing park facilities and improving previously acquired park land by adding green features, pathways, signage, or other enhancements.  Preference for funding will be given to proposals that add park amenities recommended by the 2010 Penn State Study, Planning and Design Strategies for Healthy Living, Parks, and Recreation in the Pottstown Region, which can be found at: https://pottstownfoundation.org/resources/studies-reports/pottstown-area-parks-and-recreation-study/
